Created by designers with extensive experience in the installation market, Turn 2™ was created to solve the problem of unsightly proliferation of switches on walls and offer a control option that provides the functionality needed for every area of the home in an attractive and tactile package.
Lights, blinds, climate and sound can be managed with its magic and, thanks to a sensor that signals the unit when a person approaches, there is never a delay in reaching the part of the system the user wants. A small LED illuminates in the dark to make it easier to locate the unit and an integrated temperature sensor adds further functionality and data collection capabilities. In terms of lighting, Turn 2™ is able to set scenes and adjust individual circuits, climate control allows the user to adjust temperature, fan speed, modes and humidity, while blinds can be opened or closed individually or in groups, and in terms of music, users can change the volume, skip tracks, play and pause.
Turn 2™ is a high-quality controller that includes a powerful ARM processor and an incredibly secure embedded operating system. Integration with smart homes is possible thanks to proprietary wired and Wi-Fi communication via the specially created REST API. Turn 2™ can also act as a location beacon as it supports the iBeacon and Eddystone standards.
The product has a stunning aesthetic: machined from a range of solid metals, it is available in beautiful handcrafted finishes: black, silver, stainless steel and bronze. Special order alternatives are also available for an additional level of customisation.
Turn 2™ works natively with Crestron, KNX and Control4, with 12 more integrations to come.
Bus connectors make installation easy, and once installed, simply connect Turn 2™ using the powerful magnetic holder, without the need for any tools for this part of the process. Cresnet and KNX bus connectors allow physical connection to the control bus; alternatively, the DC power bus connector is the right choice when using only Wi-Fi to integrate with automation platforms or directly with the REST API. The Tyba app simplifies device setup, configuration and control, providing a powerful yet accessible interface to manage Turn 2™. The product is also easy to install at a later date thanks to the optional wall plate. If you prefer not to install on the wall, the practical and attractive table-top stand fits perfectly in home and commercial spaces.
The product display offers a rich 2.1-inch screen at 216 ppi and has a chassis measuring 81.6 mm wide, 81.6 mm high and 22.6 mm deep. The unit weighs only 205 g and works with Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n, 2.4GHz/5GHz and Bluetooth 4.2.
